The Zoo Society supports annual operating costs of Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, as well as funding for special projects. Your donations really do make a difference! The Vision for the Future Campaign:

Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium and The Zoo Society are engaged in an effort to continue the excellent tradition of successful and award-winning programs and exhibits at our community Zoo.

The Zoo Society's $5.15 million private capital campaign, combined with $2 million of citizen-approved Metro Parks Tacoma bond funds, will ensure that Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium continues to fill its vital role in the community.

Annual Giving:
Your gift to the annual fund goes towards supporting the ongoing activities of the Zoo & Aquarium, including conservation efforts, school group visits and animal care. Click here for more information about Annual Giving.

Vision Keeper Club:
Through our Vision Keepers program, you can help build and maintain a quality facility for generations to come. Vision Keepers take the lead in supporting world-class exhibitions, educational programming and animal acquisition. You can help ensure that the Zoo & Aquarium will provide an educational and fun environment for visitors of all ages while fostering a better understanding and appreciation of the rich diversity of life. The Zoo Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit fundraising organization whose purpose is to lend financial support to Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.
