Groundbreaking Ceremony October 12, 2009
October 12, 2009 was a historic day for Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium as the official groundbreaking for the new Red Wolf Woods Exhibit got under way. On hand to help celebrate were Congressman Norm Dicks, and members of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians who gave an official blessing for the exhibit.
The exhibit is expected to open in Summer 2010.
